I only mentioned this method because I had the exact same conversation with the guy painting my z and we opted to not remove the seals. He then said with this method we would not have too, and there would be no need to worry about lines or clear coat peeling down the road. I've been around some of you guys and damn some of you are OCD and anal about your cars. None as much as myself maybe equal but trust me I make sure if I'm not the one doing something to my car I'm involved every step and expect perfection. I would never state or say anything I wouldnt do to my own car. Debate is healthy. Always a pleasure to be a forum member with you.
